Welcome To Ihsan  Mosque Norwich

We envision having separate prayer sections for both men and women. Separate wudu and washrooms for both genders. As well as a space for nightly Halaqas, Nikkahs, and other events for the youth to build a sense of community for everyone who want to get closer to their deen for the sake of Allah. We also welcome reverts and those interested in the religion. To learn more, and lock arms with other Muslims and witness the true beauty of Islam and its teachings. As the sun rises and sets over Center City, our vision is to ignite a beacon of faith that will shine for years to come.

The Story Of Ihsan  Mosque Norwich

The Ihsan Mosque in Norwich holds a special place in British Muslim history.
Established in 1977, the Mosque is home to one of the longest-standing British Muslim communities in the  UK. As the city’s Central Mosque, the Ihsan Mosque is home to a vibrant and diverse community. It hosts regular weekly classes, a children’s Quranic Madrassah and a variety of community activities from weddings to Aqiqahs. Every Jumua we welcome over 150 worshippers and in Ramadan the mosque is full of life – with a meal provided every evening for over 200 men, women and children. Furthermore, we have founded the ‘Norwich Free Market’, which has provided a free trading space based on the market ethics established by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). As a result, our mosque community was recently recognised by the Prime Minister as making an outstanding contribution to the city of Norwich.

The funds will establish a space that will accommodate you, and allow you to have an option at what time you can choose to attend Jummah prayers based on your work schedule. Our intention is to open during Ramadan 2024, inshAllah. Your contribution directly shapes the physical and spiritual experience of the Ihsan  Mosque community. We have plans of expanding and building a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor that will host separate men and women prayer sections, a space to hold halaqas and events such as Nikkahs. This is a space where Muslims from all different backgrounds, and those interested in Islam can come and learn in a no-judgment zone and insha Allah take their shahada at the Ihsan  Mosque.

May Allah reward you for your generosity and bless you and your loved ones! Donate now and be an integral part of building the Ihsan  Mosque—a testament to the strength of a united community and the boundless generosity that knows no bounds.
